Short version: we don't track you.
Sama runs a small studio website. We don't have an analytics platform, we don't have a marketing automation stack, and we have no commercial interest in your personal data. This page exists so you know exactly what that means.
What we collect when you visit sama.ink
Nothing trackable. The website sets no cookies. There are no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no third-party trackers, no fingerprinting. The only third-party request the site makes is to fonts.googleapis.com to load typefaces — your IP address may briefly be visible to Google as part of that font request, which is unavoidable for self-hosted-style font usage. We don't see or store anything from this.
What we collect when you contact us
If you email us at hello@sama.ink or scan the QR code to reach us, we receive whatever you choose to send — your name, email address, message contents, and similar. We keep that correspondence on our email provider for as long as our working relationship requires it, plus a reasonable archival period.
We don't add you to any newsletter, drip campaign, CRM pipeline, or remarketing list. We don't share your contact details with anyone. If we end up working together, any client data is governed by the agreement we sign — typically including an NDA.
What we use it for
- Replying to you.
- Scoping or delivering work you've engaged us for.
- Meeting our legal and accounting obligations.
That's it. No profiling, no automated decision-making, no behavioural advertising.
Your rights
If you're in the EU, UK, India, California, or anywhere else with privacy legislation, you have rights over your personal data — including the right to access it, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and (where applicable) port it.
To exercise any of these, email hello@sama.ink with the words privacy request in the subject line. We'll respond within 30 days, usually much faster.
Data we don't have
We never collect, request, or store: payment card information (handled by Stripe / your bank, not us), government ID numbers, biometric data, location data, health data, or anything else that would qualify as sensitive personal data under most privacy laws.
Children
Our site and services aren't directed at anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we'll update the date above and — if you're an active client — let you know directly.
